How to create a chart with stacked bars and a line over a period of time.

In a Power BI page, follow the instructions:

In the Visualizations menu, choose “Line and stacked column chart”.

Now drag the Date field to the Shared axis and the Revenue to the Column values:

Now drag the Subdivision to Column series and Forecast to Line values.

You’ll have a vision of yearly revenue and forecast:

If you want to see per quarter, just click in the button “Expand all down one level in the hierarchy”:

And then again for months:

Or you can right click on the Date field in the Shared axis section and select “Date” instead of Data Hierarchy and you’ll have this:
